Two Injured After Driver Intentionally Hits Motorcyclists

Colorado Springs, CO — Two people on a motorcycle were injured after a driver apparently hit them intentionally in Garden of the Gods Park Wednesday evening August 29th.

The hit-and-run crash was reported just before 7:30 p.m. at parking lot 12 inside the park.  The lot is located on the west side of the park.

According to reports, the driver hit the motorcyclists, dragging them a short distance before fleeing the scene.

Witnesses told police the driver appeared to hit the motorcycle on purpose.

Both victims were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The only description of the suspect vehicle was that it was a black sedan. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information should contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP.
