One Person Killed, Three Others Injured in Adams County Accident

Commerce City, CO According to reporting from TheDenverChannel, a two-vehicle crash has left one person dead and three others, including two young children, seriously injured.

The Commerce City Police Department reports that the crash occurred just outside of the parking lot of Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG) Park, when a GMC van collided with a Ford Fusion that was making a turn.

Officers believe that the van was heading east on Prairie Parkway and that the Ford was turning west off of Victory Way. The road was closed for several hours after the accident.

The crash is still under active investigation. Law enforcement officers stated that they did not yet know whether alcohol was a factor in the incident.
