One Dead in Rollover Crash in Northeast Colorado Springs
UPDATE (May 21, 2019) – Colorado Accident News reached out to obtain the preliminary report for this crash. Our request was denied by Sgt. Stinson at the Colorado Springs Police Department, likely because the investigation is ongoing. As soon as the report is released to us we will be posting it here.
Colorado Springs, CO - One man died and another person was hospitalized on Thursday May 9th after a rollover crash in northeast Colorado Springs.
According to the El Paso County Coroner’s Office, 20-year old Jose Robles was thrown from his SUV around 3:40 p.m. near Barnes Road and Purcell Drive. Robles died at the scene.
The driver of the other SUV, whose name has not been released, lost control of his vehicle while heading west on Barnes Road, Colorado Springs police said.
He was hospitalized with serious injuries. Robles’ death is the 15th traffic fatality in Colorado Springs this year.
